Day 1 (Sun): South Texas Ranch
Arrive at the ranch, no later than 5 PM, at which time we will gather for dinner. Afterwards, you’ll receive instruction on photo techniques and a briefing on the next couple of days shooting lineup.

Day 2, 3, 4 (Mon - Wed)
These days will be spent photographing wildlife from the comfort of professionally designed, sunken ground level photo blinds set back from small watering holes and close to feeding areas allowing you to capture a variety of birds and other critters as they wander in for refreshments. Two blinds are situated for best morning light, while two additional blinds are located for afternoon light. Some of the more frequent visitors include Green Jays, Painted Buntings, Golden-fronted Woodpeckers, Blue Grosbeaks, Bobwhite, Cardinals, Pyrrhuloxia, Audubon’s Orioles, and Tufted Titmouse . . . whew, the list goes on. Did I mention desert cottontail, Mexican ground squirrels, bobcat, white-tailed deer, and of course, the ever-present javelinas? A raptor blind is also available for individuals interested in photographing Crested Caracara and Harris’ Hawks.

All good things must come to an end. Following a full day photographing our wild brothers and sisters, many of which are found only in South Texas, everyone will say their good byes and return to their homes across the country.
