Rocky Mountain Photo Adventures is your photo safari specialists in Rocky Mountain National Park out of Estes Park, Colorado. Each guided photo safari is customized for you.

We’ll go where you want to go and try to locate everything you want to photograph. We’ll even pick you up at your Estes Park lodging. And if you book a photo safari before your arrival in Estes Park, we’ll even get you a discount on lodging. Our photo safaris are limited to four people in order to minimize impact on wildlife and provide personalized attention and instruction for all. Photo safaris are designed for adults and children 10 and up.

Depending on the season, photo subjects include everything from breathtaking mountain landscapes to wild flowers to wildlife.

Wildlife subjects you are likely to see include elk, moose, mule deer, bighorn sheep, golden mantled and Wyoming ground squirrels, red squirrels, three different species of chipmunks, coyotes . . . whew, the list goes on.

Not only will you learn techniques that will take your photography to the next level, you will learn about animal behavior, trees and wildflowers, and how they are all interconnected.

Weldon Lee, your photo safari guide, is the author and photographer of the book, A Guide to Photographing Rocky Mountain Wildlife. When it comes to photographing Rocky Mountain wildlife, he literally wrote the book on how and where it’s done.
