An all-day, hands-on workshop.

Day 1 (Fri): Estes Park
Meet up at 4:30 p.m. Dinner at 5:00 p.m. A classroom session will follow, during which time you will receive instruction on macro techniques, equipment, lighting, composition, and creativity. But that's not all. Lori will also show you how to build a wind box and make backgrounds that will make your images come to life.

Day 2 (Sat): Rocky Mountain National Park
Early morning will find you in Rocky Mountain National Park, where you will learn how, when, and where to find your subjects. Some of the many subjects you will photograph include flowers, lichens, insects, and feathers. Sometime around mid-morning, you'll return to Estes, where everyone will partake in a hearty breakfast or lunch at the Big Horn Restaurant. Afterwards, there will be time to download your images from the morning shoot at which time, you will select 2-3 images to be shown and critiqued.

The afternoon will be spent photographing images such as water and oil images, still life images to include natural vases with flowers, sea shells, and a set-up featuring Lemon, Glass, and Sparkling Water. There will be handouts to explain how to set up the oil and water shots and also the lemon with sparkling water.  Your classroom and the workshop will end between 4:00 p.m. and 5 p.m.
